Welcome to The NEWcomer

Our mission is to provide independent, thoughtful, and investigative journalism to Green Bay and Northeastern Wisconsin. Stories about local politics, community issues, art, and culture can be expected.

Our vision is a local, independent media landscape where members of the community are represented and powerful institutions are put under the microscope.

We value curiosity, care, humility, and truth.

Our guiding principles are to approach each subject with a sense of wonder, to protect vulnerable populations and hold truth to power, seek diverse stories and voices, and explore the sights, sounds, and stories of Northeastern Wisconsin.

More about our ethos and ethics can be found here.

What can you expect?

Each week, we will send two emails to your inbox.
